The Bench of Beeston

A couple of months ago we received some lovely feedback from Ann about our Liz Frances™ teak bench:

Not for me, housewarming present. The owners were very happy with it and so pleased. it is now the hub of their new home, being able to use their garden as an extra room. Seen in lots of photos since.

We asked Ann if she would send us some photos and she also included this lovely story:

This isn’t just a bench. It is the centre of my daughter’s social life. When she moved into her new house I bought her the bench as a house warming gift. It is beside the front door looking onto the road.

At breakfast she eats her breakfast and sees her friends walk by on their way to work. In the evening she and her friends will eat dinner on the bench, they drink wine and relax. Her friend she house-shares with practises his guitar and people stop and join in and chat.

My daughter, Abi, has many photographs of many happy occasions with the bench. This one shows the bench at it’s best.

It is called the Bench of Beeston.

Thank you very much for sending this to us, Ann, it most certainly brightened up our day and we wish that your daughter has many more happy memories with the bench!
