Darryl’s Reading Half Marathon

See that guy? That’s Darryl.

You have seen him before – he was part of our customer service Christmas jumpers day and also took part in Movember 2012!

For this year he’s set himself a new goal and will take part in the Reading half marathon on the 2nd of March in order to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

When he doesn’t wear funny jumpers he strives to make each and everyone of our customers happy, supports Southampton Football Club [we try not to hold that against him too much!] and makes the occasional cup of tea.

Team Primrose raise £660 for WaterAid

Earlier this year some of the Primrose staff took part in the Reading half marathon. They raised a phenomenal £660 for WaterAid:

Between 2009 and 2015 our ambition is that a further 25 million people will have access to safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation as a direct result of our work; and that by influencing the policies and practices of governments and service providers we will have reached a further 100 million people.

Team Primrose does the Reading Half Marathon!

Braving heavy rain and even a bit of hail, Team Primrose took part in the Reading Half Marathon this Sunday in order to raise money for WaterAid. WaterAid works specifically on the WASH crisis: water, sanitation and hygiene. Our vision is of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation.

Teck, Laura, James, Jon and Tim have so far raised £320.

Well done for taking part and all your training in the last six months!
